NAS Guide & Network List +

How your cover works

NAS administers your OpenX cover day-to-day — approvals, claims, network access and member support. They are available 24/7 with qualified medical staff on hand.

Your membership card

Your digital NAS card lives in the Wellx app, with your membership number. In the UAE, providers will usually validate cover using your Emirates ID alongside it.

Using a network provider

Visit any clinic, hospital or pharmacy in the NAS network — plus dentists and opticians where your plan includes them — and show your digital card. Eligible care is billed directly between the provider and NAS, so there is no upfront payment and no claim to file afterwards.

Direct billing follows your plan terms, area of cover and the provider's arrangements. Higher-cost or clinically complex treatments may be reviewed by NAS before they go ahead. This is part of the standard process and helps ensure the treatment fits what your plan covers.

Going outside the network

You can still see a non-network provider, but you will usually need to pay upfront and claim it back. Submit through the Wellx app, the NAS app or by email.

Keep itemised invoices, receipts, prescriptions and any medical reports or supporting documents. Make sure everything is complete and translated into English or Arabic where needed.

Service turnaround times

Medigo Guide & Network List +

What Medigo does

Medigo is the global direct-billing partner for OpenX members — providing cashless access to a wide network of healthcare providers worldwide. Direct billing means the network provider charges Medigo directly, subject to provider acceptance, so there is no upfront payment and no claim form to submit afterwards.

Emergency hospitalisation

In an emergency at a network provider, contact Medigo as soon as possible. Medigo will then contact the provider on a priority basis to arrange the payment facility.

Treatment must meet the policy definition of an emergency to qualify for this priority service.

Planned inpatient or day-patient treatment

Contact Medigo in advance — ideally at least three working days prior — so they can arrange direct billing with the provider on your behalf.

Network list

The Medigo provider network is available below. The list may change from time to time — check with Medigo in advance, where possible, before seeking treatment.

Reimbursement claims for treatment already paid for are not processed by Medigo — these should be sent directly to NAS. Direct billing is subject to provider acceptance and policy terms.
